Adelaide Rosella (juvenile)

Another from the archives, one of the previous summer's young ones, beginning to moult into its first adult colouring (red chest and head) - just looking for some mischief to get into. :'D
Habitat
Timbered valleys, open forests, woodlands, timbered watercourses; mallee; gardens. Only in the Fleurieu Peninsula, Mount Lofty Ranges, Adelaide Plains, s. Flinders Ranges. Common, sedentary.

We don't get this one. It is quite beautiful and from its expression I think it knows it!
