Mississippi Kite
Mississippi Kite (Ictinia mississippiensis) Of all days for the sky to be gray! We have been seeing them for a month now but the ones arriving of late are our summer residents.
Habitat
Post Oak Savanna vegetational area. Margin of a marsh with small areas of swamp at ca. 91 m (300 ft) elevation.
Location
Blinn College, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA.

Well it's a largely grey bird, and IMO looks good against a grey sky! Terrific shot Stanley, giving the bird (IMO again) rather a menacing expression. And it's very sharp. Fine work.
