mmmmm, those look good!

Sorry, another robin photo. But I don't know how much longer they'll be around. Sometimes they stay the winter, sometimes not. (And to be honest, there's not much else in the way of birds around here right now! lol) They're putting on quite a show as they squabble over the berries, but this guy found a quiet moment to nibble in peace.

And it looks as though it has a feast to dine on. Nicely captured wv.

LOL, I think you can be sure they'll stay as long as the berries do. That's what happens when they come here. They sure can get noisy but I love them. Great job with this shot.

Those last berries in Fall are always a good spot for bird shots |=)| I think it may be the thrushes who come first for the last of my berries too this year. A "scout" team of 12 fieldfares took a recon flight over the garden this morning and looked things over from the top of the neighbors' birch tree. Haven't seen any waxwings yet, and the little sargent apples are ripe, so ... but you never know. They could have decided there's something tastier in some other garden and the waxwings may arrive while the thrushes are busy elsewhere. Usually a flock of one of the other will swoop down in mid-October and strip the garden bare. After that, it's just magpies and the seed eaters at the feeder ... until Spring.
