Moments With A Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus)

This was the moment I was in close proximity of a female Kestrel doing what is called 'Still Hunting' perched and looking for prey.

I had to use Ninja tactics similar to those used by Julie61 to get this shot!!

I have written an account about the hours I spent at the weekend attempting to photograph this wonderfull bird of prey. Take a look in the My Birding Day section where you will also find a few more pics attached of a second female I managed to photograph.

I employed some ninja tactics for my last kestrel shots. Well, I sort of just walked over to it, aimed the camera and took some pics :-O
