Hi Monotoshroy Great bird and image. Your best option to get the bird ID is to go to Birdforum Identification Forum post your photo and where it was taken and I am sure you will get a swift reply.

It's a species of kestrel. Not certain which one.

This is definately a Kestrel and probably an immature Common Kestrel with markings on wing coverts a variation to the area. They are certainly not as commonly found in Western Europe.

I adore Kestrels and bred them in large nombers in the 1960/70's and this is a charming shot.
