Moonlit Sapphire (Chrysuronia oenone)

More night sky pastel work featuring one of my favourite Hummers. This is just a quick piece of concept art, behind the Golden-tailed Sapphire are the colours of the visable spectrum, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet, and behind him, is the moon.

Hummers do leave a rainbow behind them when flying! Lots of good nectar in this image, Sam. Moon and stars is great perspective to our attempts. :clap:
