Morning Face Wipe .... (Lutrogael perspillata)

Was at Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve this morning, and came across this fellow lying on his bed of algae. Realizing that someone was watching him,
he opened his eyes, looked at me, and decided to walk around a bit, did a big pee on the path, funny thing was he then walked over his pee a few times, then decided to show me his set of teeth. Seeing no reaction from me, he decided to go back to his bed, grabbed hold a clump of algae and wiped his face with it. Satisfied he went back to sleep... zzzzzzzz

What surprised me most was the use of seagrass by the otter to wipe his faced !!!!

Thank you

How did I miss this one, what a fantastic photo. You must admit you would probably do this yourself to help you get back to sleep if you thought someone was watching.

Only came across this when I was looking for BF members from Singapore as Neil from Hong Kong is travelling to Singapore shortly and was enquiring if there was any BF members he might come across or be able to meet.
