Mountain of ash.

This is one mountain that will disappear in time, just thought i would take it for posterity plus it looked great in the afternoon sunshine. Its actually fly ash from Cockenzie power station piled there by an army of trucks going back and forth throughout the day.
Location
Musselburgh East Lothian Scotland.
Date taken
11/9/08/
Equipment used
Nikon D50 Sigma 18-50
Looks like a real mountaneous hill... the image would be perfect to illustrate an edition of "Wuthering Heights"... at least it suggests me that! ;) Very beautiful, Reels, great idea to immortalize it now!!! :t: :t: :t:

Thanks Marian!! in this case "Withering Heights" would be more appropriate. lol.

Thanks Wilma!! at the speed the trucks travel it wouldn't be much of a race. lol.

ps, scarred rock maybe.
