Mountains and Mole Hills
A Robin stood upon a freshly dug mole hill. As well as the chance of a couple of worms, I imagine it was a warmer place under foot, for the Robin, on this frosty, chilly morning.

Nicely captured Tom and I'll bet there's a bunch of insects in that mole hill. Good feasting ahead.
 
You could be right, there, KC. It amazes me the things birds and other animals learn when it comes to finding food and surviving difficult times. Thanks for your comment :)
 
Warm feet is a good start for a morning hunt,insects be ware. Small and lovely but still a predator. ;);Nice and different shot,Tom.
