Mountains and moorland (Fokstumyra Nature Reserve)

As I mentioned in my last picture, all the pictures I'd taken in the morning had disappeared from my card, so had to content myself with pictures taken on the return trip.

Fokstumyra Nature Reserve is actually bordered by two other reserves and this picture is looking towards one of them.... Dovrefell-Sunndaisfjella (think that's right anyway).

We were stuck.... we hung around;).... in this area (which is near a railway tunnel) for quite a while, as there were so many beautiful Bluethroats around, some juveniles too.

Such a lovely reserve this one. A shame my pictures from the tower hide got lost.... but an excuse to go back again;)

I think I could find an excuse to return here D. Especially for the Bluethroats (lol). TFS my friend!

If you need another excuse, there's also the Hen Harrier pair we didn't see, although others did report seeing at least one of them that day at the other end of the moor. Aaaand, we were thinking of stopping at another tarn on the way back to Trondheim. I've never been there and not seen moose, but we ran out of time that day and didn't make the side trip.
