Reminds me of a nuthatch that does similar at my feeders, taking loads of seed at a time. TFS and thanks for the kind words on my images.

He looks very alert on that feeder Delia. A great action and well posed capture of this beauty, well done.
 
He certainly looks well fed Delia, smashing shot too, but its that time of the year!! I wonder if he will go on a new year diet as well! We had blue sky yesterday but it is back to rain now!!
