For a few weeks in the Spring this Jackdaw entertained me... but goodness he could be quick across that roof, the number of times he'd disappear out of view just as I was about to click LOL.

This was the first Jackdaw I'd seen with white feathers.

that's a weird jackdaw indeed, Delia, and a wonderful action photo of this fast runner, top notch, many tfs!!

What a charming and entertaining visitor Delia! Very nicely captured in mid-stride. The pale eye somehow gives them a very determined expression, which is appealing. Very good work with the exposure too.

I've never seen one with white patches, but then I've only seen the species here once - and that was in flight, got a record shot - since 1983. Probably the majority of Carrion Crows here have some white feathers.
 
stunning delia...i don`t think i`ve ever seen a white patchy jackdaw before....well done....
