In the Spring I usually have two pair nesting here and as I said before, I've never had them during the winter months. I'm up to 4 pairs now feeding voraciously on the suet. Something tells me that come spring they are gonna move on.

She's gorgeous! Maybe because that white "eyeliner" makes her eye look even bigger? As for heading further north come Summer ... I wonder how they know when they're in the "right" place. Density of insects? And if so, do they know how many (more?) insects there around, say, the bogs of northern Canada? Just wondering.
