my first capture of this beauty. (cinclus cinclus)

i met a lady birder today that i have met before so we went a walk and got to a spot where i mentioned i look for dippers as i have not one capture of a dipper.she scanned the area and said it looks good for dippers too.then said margaret theres a dipper i thought she was pulling my leg but sure enough under some scrub growth on the embankment across the river a dipper and luckily for me it flew out onto this rock for a short time then off.this is one little bird i have tried to capture for along time so i hope my jinx is broken now and thanks viv.

Dippers amaze me. It is hard to believe they are adapted to the life style they live (lol). Congratulations on this first capture of this species and a fabulous picture Margaret!!!!
