My hills in winter (1).

Beech and spruce forest. Monts de Guret. February 2009.
Tits, Nuthatches, Creepers and Goldcrest? Any one of them would give enough fun for a bird photographer! A great place!

A stunning vista basking in it's austerity, asleep for the winter, waiting for spring for new life to explode and new birds to arrive.
Wonderful shot Bernard:t:eek::)

What a wonderful view! It reminds me of the Monadnock region in NH with the mountaine vegetation in muted winter colors.

Many thanks again for your great comments,Easty,Tilly,Deanne,Wilma :t::t:

So much greenery to sooth the senses. You must be a very calm person getting to look out on this site on a regular basis. Lovely Bernard!
