my phantom hawk.(saturday fun) (accipiter nisus)

this was the same day he was being annoyed by the magpie and usually he just sits but this day he made quite a few attempts with talons outstretched on this occasion him and the magpie disappeared on the ground out of sight for a few moments then the hawk appeared back on this fence and the magpie soon followed to a perch above him.wish i had remembered to but my iso up because it was just a blur but great fun to watch.

Maybe the shutter wasn't up to speed, but it gives a real sense of motion and action to this photo!! Very nice and a great story to go with it!

It sounds as if this Magpie is willing to take its dislike a step higher. Great picture showing amazing action. What a brilliant event to get to witness! TFS Margaret!!!!!
