Mystery
Alex and June also had a Zebra Finch gracing their garden, but it's rather a mystery as to where it came from.

They'd thought it must have escaped from a neighbour's aviary as the nearest wild populations are a few hundred kilometers away. He didn't have a ring on.

A conversation with the aviary's family a few days later, and they told us that they'd not had any escapees.

So, I'm just enjoying him and his beauty.
