Natures Hovercraft, The Forktailed Woodnymph Hummingbird (Thalurania furcata)

And thats how natures hovercraft hovers with the wings beating at around 80 times per second and speeds up to 80kmph and the capacity to fly forward or backward or hover in the same position while feeding. A marvellous little creature. Forktailed Woodnymph shot near Lake Sandoval, Peru.
