Near Joe Creek (buteo jamaicensis)

This is a juvenile Red-Tailed Hawk that resides with a sibling in Tulsa's Langenheim Park near mid-town. The siblings were out early hunting squirrels and trying their best to ignore the attentions of the local mockingbirds and blue jays.
