Nearly a big boy (Turdus merula)

Son of Mr Spotty probably, though this one has no white feathers at all - in fact none of the current crop of blackies have any.

I think this one is now in full adult plumage as I'm not currently seeing any that look like juveniles.

One of them made a very brief visit to my window feeder the other day, I didn't dare move in case I scared it off LOL. Hopefully he'll be back.

Great pose and detail, Delia; I see them at the end of the garden, but the Starlings keep them from visiting often.

About the serpent in my Eagle post ... it is hanging below the branch, in the left lower quadrant of the image ... tail side of a big fat one ...
