Nearly a big boy

Nearly a big boy (Turdus merula)

Son of Mr Spotty probably, though this one has no white feathers at all - in fact none of the current crop of blackies have any.

I think this one is now in full adult plumage as I'm not currently seeing any that look like juveniles.

One of them made a very brief visit to my window feeder the other day, I didn't dare move in case I scared it off LOL. Hopefully he'll be back.

Lovely capture Delia, very few birds have the white feather effect Delia. Although I have had a sparrow family with white feathers over a number of years.

A wonderful capture of this Blackbird in his teen stage D. Looking quite proud of itself in this shot.
