Neotropic cormorant
Less common than the double-crested cormorants in my area, we are lucky to get one a year that seems to have decided to nest in a rookery with the double-crested cormorants and continues to come back to the same wetlands. It has cross-bred with double-crested cormorants, with none of its own kind around to mate with - and lately some of the birds identified as neotropic are likely hybrid offspring of this one!
