New Day Wakes Up
These birds have become my favorite spring birds. They are really nice company in early mornings. Im sure that if Pjotr Tsaikovski had spent some more time at the waterside with these guys we wouldnt have the famous Swanlake ballet. Instead we would have even more popular Ducklake.

Ian Fleming was very interested in Goldeneyes. He wrote the book James Pond and the Goldeneye. They started to film that book with Sean Connery. But the producer left off that project. He wasnt happy with the story where James Pond has his holidays watching the Goldeneyes. There was no shooting. This is the only Pond story where the Pond Girl actually dumps James Pond. The story was radically changed to film and as a result we have now James Bond and the Golden Gun. I dont remember anything of that film.. ;)

A fascinating plot surely devised while Ian Fleming was sitting at the famous pub in Masku ... |:d| but I'd thought this stunning picture had been taken from The Living Daylights film ;)

Aki, you are the Man with the Golden Lens, no doubt. This is an awesome image. I just adore it.

This is great. Do you set the white balance such that you get the near sepia tones, or is this the natural light? Lovely shot. :t: :t: :t: :t:

Thanks for the nice comments.

Mark:Thats about how the light was. It isnt such a beautiful place in daylight but morning sun comes very beautifully to that place. So if it has been a cold night that brings the mist too you dont need a better place to make this kind of "art". ;) Sunshine comes through tree brances as the land goes much downhill to the pond. That is a place where they used to take sand. Cravel pit I think. No word book around. There are couple highlight spots in the pond where sun comes from between the trees. Those spots are the spots I want these goldeneyes to run to. So this image is what I want to have. Only bad thing about that pond is that it is a bit too wide. Just a little bit closer to birds would be perfect. |=)|
