NI Saddleback
Obviously one of the "wattle birds". Like the Stitchbirds, the Saddlebacks were nearly extinct due to habitat loss and introduced predators such as rats, and also like the Stitchbirds they are making a comeback on reforested, protected island preserves such as Tiritiri Matangi. But I think there may be more of these on the island that of the Stitchbirds.

That's a super picture Ann.... not so sure it isn't an improvement on the current Opus picture, so I'll study them properly later.
