No berries
At the end of the first day of the festival we headed further down the peninsula to stay with some friends, John and Dora, who are very knowledgeable about the birds to be seen in their area.

And what an amazing property they have too.

One of the first birds I saw there was a Mistletoebird as the light was fading. This was when we were about to have dinner, so grabbed my camera and took the picture through the window!

They didn't seem to mind that I'd interrupted proceedings! But who could resist such beauty?;)

These are in the group known as flowerpeckers.
