Northern Cardinal

I really like the colors of this bird. But this is one of the only photos i've gotten of a male cardinal, since they seem to be very shy about perching on the feeder and don't remain still for long.

Instead, they seem to prefer to forage on the ground on seeds that the woodpeckers scatter from the feeder. Messy eaters, those woodpeckers.
