Northern Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos subsp. polyglottos) 1st year bird. Still trying to perfect its hunting techniques. Brazos Center, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA. Open ground just above Carter Creek riparian (flood plain) dominated by hackberry/elm/yaupon at ca. 88 m (290 ft) elevation.

I like the action and the low level angle of the shot. A fabulous capture of this bird's behaviour , Stanley.
