Wonderful capture Calvin, lovely details here!! Never been on the east side of the bay, just near Redwood City/San Carlos for some consulting!! Great birding in that area! Last time I was there I found about 200 Black-necked Stilts, thought I had died and gone to heaven!! lol!! tfs it!

Turns out, the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline is a "hot spot" for the region according to Audubon, among others. Lucky for me, it's a 15 minute drive across town from my home.

Still, where you live seems to have more colorful birds...there are days the "brown brown and brown" makes me yearn for some color. ;-p
