Northern Saw-whet Owl (Aegolius acadicus)

On a recent trip to Amherst Island with the OFNC, we saw many owls including three Saw-whet Owls. This owl was a lifer for me, and I immediately decided that it was the cutest bird I'd ever seen! It was great to find one posing on a branch in the open where it watched us with those great big eyes.
