Walking along the beach yesterday, and wondering whats happened to the local Black Redstarts? I really miss seeing them pop their little heads up amongst the rocks. I did see a pair, albeit at a distance, about a month ago, but they are not around like used to be. I suppose the fact that they only raised two chicks in their first round last year, and the nest got washed out during their second attempt, didn't help matters. I thought I would go down memory lane today, and drag out a Black Red image, that I haven't posted before.
