Not close enough
I'd a hope of seeing Elk when I was in Norway..... Ann did try, but none appeared for me.

So I got a little excited when I came across this pile of poo in the forest. But no, identified in the forum as Roe Deer droppings.

So it remains that I've still only seen tracks in the snow, all those years ago in Lithuania.

One day maybe.

That's what makes this hobby so interesting Delia. One day maybe reflects on every lifer we see. I saw some deer prints today in a place I never thought they would be, maybe one day I`ll see the deer. Great observation anyway, well done.

sure you'll see one, Delia, probably when you're not expecting it, that's often how it goes. in the meantime, I'm always impressed by people identifying droppings! many thanks for sharing!!

Yes, could be Roe Deer, since the droppings are only barely bigger than the blueberry leaves. Or sheep; lots of local farmers graze sheep in the commons forest up there. Sorry I didn't find you a Moose, Delia. You'll just have to come back again.

Tell tell signs, or should it be tail tail signs. Close but no cigar. Well done my friend! TFS D!
