Not Cute (Cygnus olor)

I said yesterday that I was going to stop posting photos of cute juvenile birds, so I would like to make it clear that this is a serious study of a pair of Mute Swan cygnets. Any semblance of cuteness in the image is unintentional and unavoidable on my part. Er, cute aren't they. Ron
Habitat
Reedbed pools
Location
Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk
Date taken
5/7/08
Scientific name
Cygnus olor
Equipment used
Olympus E-510 + ED 70-300
Many thanks for all your comments, especially from Vernon in 'dictionary corner'. I have taken another look at the image and I suppose from certain angles there could be the slightest hint of cuteness about it. Wink. Ron

Just my imagination .. but I wouldn't blame anybody for thinking they even might perhaps present some kind of remote faded cuteness ... but the image is pin-sharp and ... ehm ... acute?

LO Ron!! think I hit the nail on the head yesterday mate "big softie" But its a seriously brilliant photograph!! and you capture the cuteness perfectly :t::t::t:
