I actually saw this sparrow hawk catch the pigeon mid air.

Lucky you, I'd be excited beyond belief! This bird is hiding the Pigeon from anything that may steal it, such a very distinct period of time caught supremely well Kits!

Awesome, what an amazing wildlife moment. I love the way the sparrowhawk in mantling its prey and almost daring you to try to take it (lol). Absolutely brilliant Kits! TFS!
 
Well captured Kits, we have Sparrow hawks visit our garden and I know how hard they are to photograph Tfs!!
