Not now! Somebody's watching! (Vulpes vulpes)

It was getting late as we finished our hike that day, and these foxes were on a grassy rise far ahead of us, backlit by the soon-to-be-setting sun to the northwest. I tried several settings and luckily the last two shots turned out acceptable, since right after this one the pair took off. Perhaps to go somewhere more private.

Oh how sweet is that Ann!!! A wonderful picture of these two foxes.

Re the 28 parrot... apparently it comes from the sound of their flight call, which sounds like twenty eight.
