Not quite so yellow....
.... is the female!

Spotted her in a different place to where I saw the male, so don't know if they were a pair. However, there was another male (or the same one?) by her.

It's so lovely to see them there, as finding them in the wider countryside is not always so easy. Always a thrill to hear their cheery song though.

A few years ago, on a 15 mile drive home, I heard 5 separate birds in song! Where are they now?

They obviously are doing quite well in the area around Loch of the Lowes though.
