Not yet spring,but... (galanthus nivalis)

Not yet spring,but...today,for the first time since three months and half (exactly since the 10 november 2008),the temperature reached at Guret,in the middle of the afternoon,and after the usual morning frost,the level of 10 degrees celsius (or,if I'm not wrong: 50 degrees fahrenheit). And the snowdrops (in french:les perce-neige) are in flower!

Yes spring is on it's way Bernard and the snowdrops are out. Next it will be the Daffodil's and then the Tulips and then we will look up and the Swallows will be skimming our heads!;) It comes around so fast, just two weeks ago we had snow in the North East of England and now today, they are expecting it to reach 13 degrees C (which is near sub-tropical for the NE at this time of year;)) This is a lovely capture of these charming 'winter' flowers, many thanks for posting it Bernard :t::t::t:
