Nuthatch on pause (Sitta carolinensis)

This nuthatch took another long break, just hanging here for many minutes. It's a healthy, active bird, and is usually zipping around as nuthatches do. But every now and then, this one will just sit in one place, calmly looking around. Maybew it's daydreaming, who knows?
