Nuthatch
Not the best Nuthatch sjot I've taken bt maybe one of the least typical.
We're off on a boat trip to to the outer archipelago today looking for White-tailed Eagles and seabirds. Then we're landing on Svenska Hgarna to look for Goldcrests and rarities. There was a Yellow-browed Warbler there yesterday but I'm not holding my breath. Last year it was too windy to get there and this year a low level storm warning has already been issued.

Thanks very much all of you for these kind comments!
The boat trip yesterday was a bit mixed. It was too windy to reach our main goal and on the alternative island we landed on there were no rarities. On the plus side it was mild and sunny and the archipelago was beautiful. We also saw about 20 White-tailed Eagles (all too far away to get a decent shot) and best of all I got my very first sharp, full frame shots of a Goldcrest.
