Blackland Prairie and Edwards Plateau vegetational areas, sewage ponds adjacent to the Colorado River next to the river is a gallery hackberry/elm woodland and elsewhere the ponds are surrounded by open fields and operational buildings at 134 m (440 ft) elevation.
Location
Hornsby Bend Bird Observatory, Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA.

it's the same down here, Stanley, they are very common and indeed invasive. excellent photo with lovely reflections, love it, many tfs!!
