Nutria
Nutria also known as Coypu (Myocastor coypus: Echimyidae) Considered an invasive species in North America.
Habitat
Blackland Prairie and Edwards Plateau vegetational areas, sewage ponds adjacent to the Colorado River next to the river is a gallery hackberry/elm woodland and elsewhere the ponds are surrounded by open fields and operational buildings at 134 m (440 ft) elevation.
Location
Hornsby Bend Bird Observatory, Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA.
