NZ Pigeon (Hemiphaga novaeseelandiae)

I was taking this birds photo in Fox township, a small touristy place, when a bus load of Chinese holidaymakers became interested in what I was doing and soon the tree was surrounded by said Chinese with long lens cameras. I took photos of them, they took photos of the pigeon and the pigeon carried on eating, all happy!

LOL Tom!!! You had quite a session there, didn't you. Think the tourists went away quite contented too by the sounds of it.... hope their pictures come out OK.

What a fabulous pose - quite gymnastic looking!! Very well done lad.
