Oak Wood Creeper (Certhia familiaris)

This little bird put in a few appearances during my hours with Ken at Oak Wood. A great little bird to sit and watch, as they busy themselves around the tree trunks at breakneck speeds.
Well folks, this will be my last upload for 2008, and I would like to take this opportunity, to wish you all, and your families, a very happy new year. Thanks for all your comments on my pis, and thanks for sharing your lovely images with us. Today we have company, Hazel's kids, and grandkids, so I may not get on here a lot. We also have to take time out today, to scatter the ashes of my best Hastings mate and his dog, who died on the same day, while we were on holiday in the States. The ashes will be scattered into the sea, and will drift away forever, but their memories will live on with me always. Thank you all on BF, for being a very important extension to my family and friends, your friendship is much appreciated.
