Oblique Streaktail (Allograpta obliqua: Syrphidae) 6-7 mm (0.24-0.28 in) long. A hoverfly. Foraging on green poinsettia (Euphorbia dentata: Euphorbiaceae)
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Post oak/yaupon dominated upland at ca. 88 m (269 ft) elevation.
Location
Lick Creek Nature Center, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
