On third try
D. Taylor

On third try (Sialia sialis)

Don't know who is having a more difficult spring. The BB's are on their third clutch, sparrows got the first two. They moved the nest to a pot under the lean-to. I got some BP meds changed and feel much better, passed a heart monitor for a month and a nuclear stress test on the tred mill and no I didn't glow green that night......disappointing I has planned to stand in the front yard and bug the neighbors.

LOL Donny.... I'd have loved to have seen you glowing green!!! That would have been a right sight for sore eyes!!! Glad you've got through those tests OK my friend, and it's lovely to see you back again.

Those poor Bluebirds, what a shame for them to lose two clutches. My Marsh Harriers have lost their first nesting attempt this year, not sure if it was Otters raided the nest or what. They're busy building another in a different spot, but don't know if they've time to raise another chick!

Anyway you've a fine picture of this lovely guy - very well done my friend.

wonderful photo, Donny!! superb colors and great setting, top class, many tfs!!!
good to see your photos back and great to hear you are doing well!

Nice to have you back Donny. And you couldn't have posted a better shot to start your return. This is a brilliant capture, well done.

good to see you back buddy, and a beautiful image to return with as well....many thanks...
