One day....
.....I'll see Ruff in their breeding finery! Is that a bit of a pipe dream?

I've had better images and closer views of these guys in the past, but the ones we saw in the estuary that afternoon were the only ones we came across that trip I think.

I'm not sure what the wee wader is between them though (maybe another Dunlin?)

I have no doubt that you'll one day find them in their breeding colors but for now this is a lovely group image D.
