Only one leg but who is bothered !

I took this shot through my living room window,this Heron was very cheeky it keeps coming to my pond the plast Heron will not stop it,i have just bought a Heron scarer it has a censor that detects movement and squirts water for 5 seconds and again after 5 seconds if it will not go away,i have a larger pond below this one with 18 koi in it ! being a nature lover a cant wring the Herons neck !

NO you can't wring the herons neck:eek!: :eek!: :eek!: It's a beauty but a bit stupid, it's fallen for the plastic one:t:eek::)

It dont look too bothered about your Koi Tony, its more interested in that other bird, another good un.

Oh my Goodness!!!!! These herons are such a plague to the koi and goldfish. I'd bought one of the decoys because it was supposed to keep the Great Blue Herons out of my pond but it didn't work for me either. Last summer the Heron got four of my ten year old Shubunkin Goldfish. They were beauties and are now gone. Like you I'm so ambivalent, love the Herons but not in my pond please!
