Eastern-slope of the Andes in the foothills at 1,398 m (4,587 ft) elevation.
Location
Cock of the Rock Lodge, northeast of Challabamba, Parque Nacional del Manu, Cusco Department, Per.

Lovely shot, a gorgeous little bird ("Euphonia" suggests it's pleasant to listen to as well). Very obliging with that head turn!
 
What a beautiful bird and you have caught him in a terrific angle Stanley. The colours are wonderful and the background is just perfect . Another splendid composition .
 
Stands out pretty well against the blurry bg (Hope this is correct English). A wonderful close-up of this beauty.
