Oriental Garden Lizard (Calotes versicolor)

Introduced to the Maldives probably from Sri Lanka, this widespread Asian lizard is famous for changing colors. In fact it is often called the "Changeable Lizard." This is a female with short head spines.

Kanuhura Resort, Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives.
