Oriental pied hornbill
I read so much about these beautiful birds before my trip to Asia. That day, I took pics of Purple Herons and Kingfishers, I suddenly noticed some noise in the bg and turned around just to see that four of them showed up. Luckily, could I get some distant shots of them. Later in January, could I get further pictures of the same species, in Vietnam.
Birders in Malaysia told me that they are sometimes shot when they fly from one habitat/NP to another habitat/NP.
