Osprey and Catch
Four or five Ospreys have taken up temporary residence at Lake Yahola just north of Tulsa, Oklahoma on their way to the Great Lakes region from the Gulf of Mexico. They seem to enjoy the extremely fertile fishing grounds in and around eastern Oklahoma as more and more of these birds are seen each year. For a long time the locals called the Ospreys a "fishhawk" from the term used by the local Indian tribes.
