Osprey on electric pole (Pandion haliaetus)

Along the Columbia River near Lake Chelan, Washington, they have nesting platforms built near the electric poles. The ospreys build their nests there, but the males, I guess, still have to hang out near the high tension lines. The female was in the nest about 10m away.
